Astrological Prediction with House-based Transit Grids Transit grids are an invaluable tool for crafting highly specific and accurate astrological predictions. By breaking complex planetary configurations down to their core dynamics and structuring them with this simple technique, we’re able to gain a deep and nuanced understanding of the storylines that are unfolding in a person’s life at any given moment.
This webinar will give a brief overview of transits and their underlying narrative structure, then introduce the transit grid technique with a focus on using the significations of the houses to direct and hone interpretation.
We’ll start to see each transit not as a single interaction between planets, but one episode in a complex narrative web that spans a lifetime. The rulership of planets over particular houses in the chart can tell us the source of an event, the character of the event itself, and the lasting impact of that event on a person’s life.
Studying transits in this way allows for a clearer understanding of how planetary rulership really works in practice, showing how each planet is responsible for weaving together different facets of our lives, creating inherent connections between specific themes and linking the different interpersonal relationships we have to each other in ways that aren’t immediately apparent.
By mapping out these chains of rulership, transit grids contribute immensely to our understanding of natal astrology, not just prediction, and provide tantalizing clues about the nature and mechanics of time and fate.
